Beach Bums and BBQ's

Each year when we go away one thing is a must: A Beach BBQ. 

Now my Grandparents are a bit older we have the BBQ outside the house and then retire to the beach for a fire and marshmallow roasting. 

We didn't do much with the meat this year, but M caught a corker of a Seabass so that took centre stage. We stuffed it with oranges, garlic and onion which was amazing. 

We also wrapped the mackerel we caught in foil and buried it in the centre of the beach fire to cook, another beautifully simple but unbelievably tasty dish. 

To top it all off we had the cheesecake which we made for G's birthday and marshmallows.

We built the fire and watched the sun go down.

Style Memories : Paris

 Now a trip to probably my second favourite city in the world, Paris! I am always so in love with this city every time I visit, everything is just too beautiful. I have frequented this city a fair few times now but these pictures where from my 18th birthday, my mum had whisked me away for a long weekend in the city. We fell into many sugar traps on our travels, be it Angelina's hot chocolate or the Macaroons at Laduree I alway's get so excited for the food when I'm in France. 
One of my favourite places to go is the Place de le Concorde, the green and gold fountains and lamp posts just encapsulate Paris for me (and of course remind me of The Devil Wears Prada). Every time I visit I always get a picture sat on one of the fountains.  
For this outfit I'm wearing my French connection coat, it has a slight military style to it with the gold buttons either side which I really like. I paired it with some Zara leggings and my trusty Topshop Mighty boots... RIP, you served me well. 
Im unsure where the top is from, but my scarf is from ZARA, and I'm quickly learning from looking back at these pictures is that you cannot go wrong with a scarf from Zara! 
Last but not least my RB's, I try to branch out to other brands of sunnies but I just can't!

Flippin' ell.

Yes I do always make pancakes in heels...

This is possibly the most simple recipe ever. Its for crepes, It was a firm favourite in my house and then in my flat at uni. Im sure this is super basic to many but if your looking for a lazy Sunday morning breakfast idea then try this..

35 grams of butter
150 grams of flour
325 ml milk
1 egg

These are rough measures I generally get a bit generous and double it.
Basically, mix the flour, milk and the egg, then melt the butter and throw it in.
Heat up your frying pan or crepe pan if your snazzy like that until its piping hot, pour in the batter and tilt the pan so it covers the base, cook until little bubbles start to appear in the batter and the edge starts to go crispy then flip!

Whats Up, Glastonbury!

^ This was essentially my expression for the entire time. 

So, I went to Glasto.
After years of watching, listening and pining to go we finally got tickets.
And it didn't disappoint, We saw so much great live music, including, James Bay, Hozier, The Libertines, Pharell, Ben Howard, Lionel Richie, Charli XCX, Catfish and the Bottlemen... The list is endless.
The weather (apart from one downpour) was great, not too hot but the sun was out!
And the food was also pretty darn good!
