Style Memories: London

I took these photos when I had first moved to London around October time, myself and a friend took a trip to Kensington Gardens and thought it would be fun to take some snaps. It was a classic autumnal day, the air was crisp and clear and it wasn't cold enough for bare legs (huraaah!).
My dress is one I've owned for a while, I got it on sale in Topshop about 2 years ago and paired it with a cropped jumper from H&M and an oversized black coat from Zara.
My mum has engrained colour in me from a young age so I couldn't go all out monochrome, I love long socks peeking out so I dug out a suitable autumnal pair and my blue Fiorelli bag. Looking back I wish I had gone with a black or raspberry coloured bag to tie in with my socks!
This is generally about as formal as it gets during the day time for me as if I wear a dress in the day its usually with trainers (not ashamed).
I love this outfit as it reminds me of my first couple of months in London, a nervous first year trying to find my feet and trying to remember which tubes to get on! It also reminds me of how much I have evolved since living in the city...basically I now remember which tubes to get on.

London: Hair, Camden and Fireworks

So today was a pretty big day for me.
I took the plunge and finally got my hair dyed, to some this may seem like nothing to many but to me it was a pretty big deal.
I was always told not to touch my hair but after thinking about it for almost 2 years I decided there was no time like the present.
After extensive googling I decided on B&P cheeky salon in Shoreditch, the prices where great and they had rave reviews.
I'm happy to say I'm so pleased with the end result!

After we wandered the streets of Shoreditch, defiantly one of my new favorite areas BTW and stopped for a bite to eat before hitting Camden.

We couldn't decide on a firework display so we decided to see them all.
Me and Em wrapped up warm and clambered up Primrose hill to get a 360 view of London and the fireworks it had to offer, sadly the photos really don't do it justice (low lighting will forever be my nemesis) but you get unparalleled views of the London skyline and it's truly breathtaking.

OOTD

^ Don't know quite what Im doing with my hand there.
Anyway this outfit is all about comfort, my battered old converse, RB sunnies, H&M trousers and a topshop vest.
I wore minimal makeup and my hair down, I honestly couldn't be bothered! Bad I know I know...

C went for some distressed denim shorts from new look and a white top from H&M.
Chloe's skin is pretty amazing so she's often bare faced but what she can do with her hair is truly enviable, here she's done a half up, half done job but she can fishtail plait like no body's business! I can barly plait my hair normally...

El's skirt is from new look and her top is from Urban outfitters.
A chiffon maxi is perfect for covering up whilst staying cool, and a graphic tee makes makes the look more laid back.
