Style Memories: London

I took these photos when I had first moved to London around October time, myself and a friend took a trip to Kensington Gardens and thought it would be fun to take some snaps. It was a classic autumnal day, the air was crisp and clear and it wasn't cold enough for bare legs (huraaah!).
My dress is one I've owned for a while, I got it on sale in Topshop about 2 years ago and paired it with a cropped jumper from H&M and an oversized black coat from Zara.
My mum has engrained colour in me from a young age so I couldn't go all out monochrome, I love long socks peeking out so I dug out a suitable autumnal pair and my blue Fiorelli bag. Looking back I wish I had gone with a black or raspberry coloured bag to tie in with my socks!
This is generally about as formal as it gets during the day time for me as if I wear a dress in the day its usually with trainers (not ashamed).
I love this outfit as it reminds me of my first couple of months in London, a nervous first year trying to find my feet and trying to remember which tubes to get on! It also reminds me of how much I have evolved since living in the city...basically I now remember which tubes to get on.

London: Borough Market

Today myself and Gabby decided it would be a great idea to eat our way round London.
Starting with crepes in Covent garden, I plumped for a classic: Nutella, white chocolate and strawberries.

Gabs went all out with a mars bar, nutella, strawberry's, white chocolate and ginger biscuits!
I washed mine down with a passionfruit smoothie and Gabs went for strawberry and banana, a thumbs up all round for brekkie!

Moving swiftly on we headed to Borough market, a metropolis for foodies alike.
They literally have everything. Fish? got it. Meat? You name it. Pudding? By the bucket load.

The whole place is full of the most amazing smells and colours with the stands handing out tasters of what they had to offer, It was my heaven!

We kicked things off with a couple of plump oysters before perusing the rest of the market, then actually returned to the same stand for a couple more oysters and some juicy scallops smothered in bacon and lemon juice.

The most amazing pumpkin carving!

Defiantly worth a visit!
I cant wait to return.

Kensington Gardens

Sorry for the variance in photo quality, the lighting was poor and I just couldn't get to grips with my camera settings!

Anyway myself and Richa took a trip to Kensington Gardens for a a stroll and to make the most of London in Autumn, the park is full of dog walkers, keen runners and tourists snapping away.

I wore a H&M- jumper/ Topshop-dress/ Topshop-boots/Fiorelli- Bag/Zara Coat/ Primark- necklace
